Non-Resident Nepali Association, National Coordination Council (NRN NCC) Qatar, in collaboration with Deep Qatar Conservation, successfully organized the Al Thakira Mangrove Beach Clean-Up Campaign on the occasion of International Workers’ Day, 1 May 2026.

Held under the theme “Let’s Clean Today, Keep Our Coastline Beautiful Tomorrow,” the initiative reflects NRN NCC Qatar’s continued commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainable community engagement. The campaign brought together representatives from various Nepali Welfare community organizations, leaders, representatives, individual volunteers, and members of the broader community, demonstrating a shared responsibility toward preserving Qatar’s natural environment.

NRN NCC Qatar expresses its sincere appreciation to Mr. Jose for his leadership and coordination in organizing this initiative, and for facilitating meaningful participation in environmental conservation efforts.

The Council further acknowledges the presence and support of ICC Deputy Secretary General Mr. Mohommed Mukdata Musalman, Secretary Mr. Ramesh Bhatt, Deputy Regional Coordinator Mr. Kareem Box Miya, Deputy Regional Woman Coordinator Mrs. Sarita Bhandary, & ICC members whose encouragement contributed to the success of the campaign.
